Moe's Tavern
Our Review
Moe’s Tavern is a small bar in Lee that is a popular spot for the locals. Their main drink selections consist of craft brews on tap, bourbon, beer, and a lot of whiskey. The tavern also has a pretty fun, easy-going aura—which is exemplified by their slogan and website name of “No Coors Light”. This being said, it’s important to remember ahead of time that Moe’s Tavern actually does not have a food menu. That’s typically no issue though, as many eateries are within walking distance from the tavern. There’s also the unique option to bring your own food inside to munch on.
When walking in the front door of the building, guests are greeted by walls filled with bright neon signs and playful alcohol-related decor. There’s also TVs on the walls that are playing various sports channels all of the time—creating an atmosphere similar to that of a stereotypical man cave. The bartenders are consistently amiable and ready to help out when it comes to things like selecting a craft beer off their rotating tap menu. Moe’s Tavern is typically very lively with large crowds, music, and most people standing (since the only seats inside are wrapped around the bar). Many people come here for the down-to-earth, entertaining vibe.
Within walking distance from Moe’s Tavern is 51 Park Restaurant and Tavern. It’s received excellence certificates from Trip Advisor for its delicious fresh, made-from-scratch, menu items and pleasant dining experience. Similarly to Moe’s, 51 Park also has craft beers in addition to various wines and cocktails. The restaurant is family-friendly and has large private dining spaces available upon request.
