Our Review

The Six Depot Roastery & Cafe is a combination of a couple of favorites, namely coffee, art, and events. Located in the historic train station of West Stockbridge, everything in this cafe is made in-house from the granola to the slow-roasted meats. It’s a community environment harboring new art openings every six weeks with routine musical performances. Its many windows ensure that it is well-lit plus properly ventilated. Two rooms are on the inside, namely the dining area and the gallery. Some delicious quiet time with a book and chocolates would work best in the gallery room.

Popular for quite a number of things none top the list quite like their coffees, panini, sandwiches, and eggs with bacon.  Mostly made by the owners, their passion reflects in the way that newcomers and locals continue to eat here. Music lovers will enjoy the bands that play ever so often. At times, dance performances and other such forms of visual arts grace the diners whilst leaving a memorable impression. Signing up for their emails if you’re a local will be useful to keep up. The modern outdoor seating area is available in the summertime.

If you do like their coffee and salts you can purchase some to take home. They brew it themselves. A short walk from Six Depot Cafe is a small park called Turn Park Art Space. Located immediately after Hotchkiss Mobile Art Gallery and Studio this is a quick activity which you could opt for after leaving the cafe. Unexpected outdoor sculptures and rooftop art which blend with their surroundings are the muses. The park’s neighbor is Hotchkiss Mobiles which features a gallery with many disciplines of art. This is a place to go for exploring endless broad combinations that might end up being a special keepsake.
