Chocolate Springs
Our Review
Chocolate Springs is Berkshire County’s go-to spot for all things chocolate. They offer high-end handmade chocolate (the hot chocolate is a must have), ganache, mousse, truffles, and more. And, the decor in the shop is almost as diverse as the chocolates. It’s a concoction of European tradition and Japanese cultural aesthetics, topped off with Berkshire spin. Tourists and locals alike swing by to work, eat, and chat peacefully in the cafe. There’s live music occasionally too, which is nice considering it can be tough to access sometimes in the Berkshires.
There is the option to ship directly to your house from the Chocolate Springs website, but visiting the physical location has a special aura. Near the entrance, there is a window that looks right into the kitchen. You can watch chocolatiers in action and smell the aroma of handmade chocolate. The cafe also serves delicious confections, gelato, ice cream, and coffee.
Chocolate Spring is a great place to treat your tastebuds. If you want to treat your ears to more live music, Tanglewood is just six minutes down the road via Route 7. There’s an expansive range of musical styles, and you can have a picnic out on the lawn.
