Dottie’s has a really comfortable and funky-rustic atmosphere, making it pretty special.

Dottie’s is home to weekly events (don’t miss the live music on Sunday mornings), family dessert nights on Fridays, teen music nights on Saturdays, domingo brunches on Sundays and more. They also have event space catering and cake customization available. The food served there is healthy and is sourced from businesses in the area, playing into their cool “sustainable community” philosophy. Also, some unique local art is typically hung on the walls for sale around the lounge.

About 10 minutes from Dottie’s is the Pittsfield State Forest. There’s 11,00 acres filled with year-round opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, camping, visiting Berry Pond, kayaking, boating, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, fishing, and more. Visitors also have the option to drive through the sizable loop, which leads to an amazing overlook that captures sunsets perfectly.
