Our Review

One of the best places to cool down in Great Barrington is on Railroad Street—SoCo Creamery! Founded in 2004, this ice cream shop has a wide and ever-evolving variety of flavors to fit any preferred flavor palate. SoCo’s ice cream is handcrafted right in their kitchen, with dairy from Kingdom Creamery in East Hardwick, Vermont! If you are looking for a real taste of New England, this certainly is a sweet spot. There are so many flavors and recommendations that we’d love to share, but the banana brownie is one of our top choices! Also, make sure to check out their website when heading over to see what their scoops of the day are. Per their website, you can find SoCo products “from Maryland to Maine and in locations such as Whole Foods stores in eastern New England, King’s supermarkets in northern New Jersey, and Morton Williams in New York City.
