Our Review

Ramunto’s Brick Oven Pizza is a locally-owned pizzeria that has exceptional food and an easygoing, fun atmosphere. The pizzas are creative, with an expansive list of choices as well as options to customize on the spot. Beyond delicious pizzas, guests can order pastas, sandwiches, appetizers (garlic knots are a must), and artisanal salads. With the unique “Flash Fire” concept, customers can customize a pizza as it goes down the line. Then, it is cooked quickly in a 900 degree oven. This time-friendly alternative is available for personal sized pizzas during on-the-go moments. This is also an option for sandwiches via Flash Fire too.

Everything is made fresh to order—never frozen—and in-house daily, including dough and signatures spreads (try the cheddar spread). This being said, Ramunto’s boasts a 20-inch large pizza, which beats out large-scale competitors—and it’s cost-friendly. Inside the North Adams pizzeria, there’s space for private events in addition to dine-in and carry-out alternatives. There’s also over eight locations spanning across Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Jiffy Marts. Successfully operating for over 15 years, franchising is also welcome at Ramunto’s as noted on their website.

A one minute drive from Ramunto’s will take you to the entrance of MASS MoCA. This contemporary art museum is innovative, eclectic, and immersive. The exhibits are inside of an old factory building, giving it an even more authentic, culture-dense ambiance. There’s also special performances and other entertaining events going on at MASS MoCA regularly.
