The town of Egremont borders New York and sits in the southern region of the county. It’s a smaller-scale town that’s placed within the Berkshire Hills and has legitimate rural appeal. Although many have made this town their full-time home, there’s also a good amount of second homes, weekend homes, and summer homes in Egremont. 

Nightlife in Egremont is somewhat limited, but does have The Barn, an excellent spot for both dining and entertainment that captures Berkshire County culture. It’s also been featured in Vogue. Regarding daytime activities, there’s an aerial park, town park, and trails to hike. The town is split into North and South Egremont villages, with a fair amount to do in each. However, Egremont at large is generally on the quiet side.
