The city of North Adams is a modern, cultural hub with an industrial feel. What was formerly known as a mill town has now been transformed into a hotspot for tourism. It’s been evolving and drawing in larger crowds in recent years. Many of the old mills around North Adams now cultivate and house studios and local artists. One in particular has actually been turned into the largest contemporary art museum in the country—MASS MoCA. 

With the ongoing expansion of art in the city, other businesses have popped up in North Adams as well. There’s quite the selection of restaurants and bars that are all fantastic and offer something for everyone. The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts is also in North Adams.
