Ramblewild
Our Review
Ramblewild is one of Berkshire County’s most exciting outdoor adventures. You can ascend up to 120 feet in the aerial park (packed with zip lines), hike the onsite trails, go snowshoeing, schedule team building, and attend special events. The property has a range of activities suitable for all skill levels from newbies to hiking up Sheep’s Heaven Mountain. There’s also experienced hiking guides available to help you learn about the area (don’t be afraid to ask questions). The activities here are really engaging for both your body and mind and you’ll want to carve out a full day for them.
The aerial park is Ramblewild’s main attraction. It has eight obstacle courses in total, but you do not have to do them all once you start. There’s 1,400 acres of forest scenery to experience while climbing, soaring, and sliding through the 10+ acre park. The 200-foot suspension bridge above the ravine (that separates the park) is a must-see. Four of the courses cross the ravine by zip line, which is above the bottom by more than 100 feet. The courses are packed with high wires, zip lines, balance logs, ropes, ladders, cargo nets, and more.
There’s plenty to do around the Lanesborough area as well. Just a quick 9 minutes south via Route 7 is Baker’s Golf Center. It has an 18-hole mini golf course and 300 yard driving range. Baker’s also has ice cream, light snacks, and drinks.
