Our Review

Jiminy Peak is the largest resort in Southern New England when it comes to skiing and snowboarding. It’s home to plenty of year round activities, like the Mountain Adventure Park (try the mountain coaster) and Aerial Adventure Parks in the summer, and 13 Nights in the fall. There’s good food, lodging, places to host events of up to 400 people, and 45 trails to shred. The summit elevation at Jiminy Peak is 2,380 feet and looks over beautiful Berkshire scenery. The resort is really family-friendly, and offers lessons—from experienced skiers and snowboarders—to beginners of all ages.

When the winter season ends, Jiminy opens up its popular Mountain Adventure Park. There’s a good amount of hiking trails, the Alpine Super Slide, Soaring Eagle (a seated zip line), a giant swing, scenic chairlift rides, a rock climbing wall, large bungee trampolines, a kid’s climbing area, and more. One of the trails even takes you to the summit. From there, both Jericho Valley and Mount Greylock can be seen. Outside of the Mountain Adventure Park there is mountain biking and Aerial Adventure Park. The aerial park is self-guided and has 6 courses that are sprinkled with rope, bridges, ladders, nets, and zip lines.

If you are looking for more nearby outdoor adventures in the Berkshires, Ramblewild is roughly a mile-and-a-half from Jiminy Peak. Here, there are eight more aerial obstacle courses and additional hiking.
