Race Brook Lodge
Our Review
Race Brook Lodge is a wonderful place to relax and rewind. It is located right next to a picturesque hiking destination that shares a similar name—Race Brook Falls. The architecture is charming and rustic. Directly outdoors, guests are able to access the surrounding trails with ease, including the Appalachian Trail. There’s also the Race Brook Lodge’s garden which is grown for use at the on-site restaurant. The lodge caters to romantic getaways, weddings, retreats, and other gatherings. Private dining rooms, a barn, and a 30x30 screened porch welcome cocktail parties, corporate events, weddings, and so on for up to 200+ people.
The Stagecoach Tavern actually has been around since the early 1600’s. It’s sprinkled with candles and string lights, creating a cozy ambiance. The menu is packed with locally sourced and seasonal options that are really flavorful and innovative. There’s a courtyard out back too for guests to enjoy. When the weather gets colder, there’s a fire to warm up next to. Regarding entertainment, the speakeasy performance area in the tavern hosts local live music frequently. Choose from wines, local brews, and more to sip on while relaxing. There’s also an interesting range of performances from poetry to dances that take place here as well. These areas feel intimate and eclectic.
As mentioned, Race Brook Falls is directly next to the Race Brook Lodge. The trails at this location take hikers to various points on the waterfall. Various sized streams and dense pine trees line the trails as well, making it a really zen experience.
