About

Stockbridge is well regarded for its blissful blend of historic and cultural feats. When looking at the puzzle pieces of a Berkshire County map, Stockbridge fits in just below the mid region, and is oriented to the left—with a south county vibe. Here, you’ll find artistic treasures that are both human-made and natural, such as the Norman Rockwell Museum and Naumkeag.

Main Street is quite popular, and is home to a small, one-of-a-kind collection of eateries and shops. To note, the famous Red Lion Inn and Lion’s Den are located on this strip as well. Beyond visiting the highly-trafficked areas of town, there are also plenty of places to hike and spend time outdoors (try visiting Ice Glen). There’s also a local library, where multiple generations have gone to indulge in fantastic books and culture. If you’re looking for an area with an abundance of amenities, without sacrificing the sense of nature and the beautiful Berkshire mountains, this is your place.
